Amos O. Ajani, Sr., CISA, CISM, BS 7799/ISO 17799 Lead Auditor
– Founder & President -

Amos Ajani is an entrepreneur; an experienced professional auditor/consultant with in depth knowledge of Auditing, Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, and Information Security.  His background and experience are totally unique, and includes being one of the top auditors with high energy, strong work ethic, and high moral/ethical character.

During his engagements/employment with Kelly Services, Bank One/JP Morgan Chase Bank, Ernst & Young LLP, and Greif Inc., he had improved the efficiency of both their and their Clients’ business internal/information processing controls.  His professional arsenal includes extensive experience in implementation and audit of different compliance/standards including BS 7799/ISO 17799, HIPAA, GLBA, CISP, and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) Act of 2002 (SOX is a commercial equivalent of OMB Circulars A-130 and A-123). 

As a Commissioned Officer (Signal Officer) in the United States Army, he has performed, directed and managed multiple projects of millions in dollars, both audits and implementation (TCF/DSST/DOIM type of Operate & Maintain missions), services in Logistics, Acquisition, Financial management, Program management, Software management, Application design and integration, Configuration management, Cyber security, Database/COTS integration, End-to-end IT services and operations, Enterprise-wide systems integration, Help desk, data centers, web development and LAN/WAN support, Identification credentialing, Information assurance, Systems architecture, Platform design and architecture analysis, Reliability and maintainability, Test and evaluation.

Prior to his commission, he was a Legal NCO, (MOS; 71-D /27-D) in the JAG Corp.  He remains in the U. S. Army Reserve (25A, Signal Officer), and a member of the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA), Information Systems Security Association (ISSA), Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA), Armed Forces Communications & Electronics Association (AFCEA), Reserve Officer Association (ROA), and ToastMasters Club.

His formal education/certification includes Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Certified BS 7799/ISO 17799 Auditor, Master of Science in Computer Information Systems [Software & Security Engineering Management focus] from University of Detroit-Mercy, Detroit, Michigan, and Bachelor of Art Degree in Accounting from Michigan State University, East Lansing, Michigan.  Amos is a Lifetime member of the MSU Alumni Association!

Amos is an Iraqi War Veteran (OEF/OIF Veteran), and still going strong & Army Strong!

Yomi Faparusi, Sr., Esq., MD, PhD
– Executive Vice President, Compliance Group -

Dr. ‘Yomi Faparusi an experienced licensed physician, attorney and researcher. In addition to Dr. Faparusi’s medical and legal expertise, he has an extensive background in Statistics especially modeling, trend analyses and research methodology. This has positioned him uniquely as one of the experts on Medicare extrapolation and defense. Dr. Faparusi has strong knowledge of Health care laws and Policies, especially relating to Medical Malpractice, Tort Reform, Medicare, Medicaid and the Health Reform Act.

Yomi is an Executive Vice President/ General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer and has direct responsibility for our Compliance/Legal services (Medical Malpractice, Personal Injuries and Regulatory Compliance), Physician relations, and Data Analytics. He oversees the compliance services, and advises clients on Risk management, Quality Initiatives (Clinical Excellence etc.), data reporting and the formal Medicare Appeals Process all the way to the Federal Court.

During his time at Intersect Healthcare Incorporated, Dr. Faparusi had direct responsibility for the Appeal services, Medical Review and Research, allowing Intersect Healthcare to evolve as one of the preeminent appeal solution providers. Dr. Faparusi has, at various times, advised hospitals on medico-legal partnership and research collaboration. Dr. Faparusi was also a Government Affairs intern with the Medical Group Management Association (MGMA) shortly after the passage of Medicare Part D.

His formal education/certification includes Jurist Doctorate from Widener University School of Law in Wilmington, Delaware graduating with Cum Laude honors and an expertise in Health Law. He was also the inaugural Health Law Research Fellow at the Widener School of Law in Wilmington, Delaware. Prior to law school, Dr. Faparusi received his PhD in Public Health from the Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland and his Medical Degree from the University of Ibadan’s College of Medicine in Ibadan, Nigeria. He also received postgraduate medical training in psychiatry at the Saint Elizabeths Hospital in Washington, D.C.

Dr. Faparusi is licensed to practice Medicine by the state of Wisconsin and is also a member of the bar of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania!

James Oche, CISA, CGEIT, PMP
– Executive Vice President – Risk Advisory Group -

James Oche has over 14 years of advisory services and hands-on experience with Arthur Andersen, PwC, KPMG and Freddie Mac, James has deep global, multi-industry experience leading engagements across several industrial and functional areas, with a focus on financial services and telecoms, media & technology and public & government services.

He also has long running experience managing complex and enterprise-wide programs and project lifecycles: initiation, resource mobilization, design, implementation, project risks and engagement economics.

James Oche is an Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer in our Advisory practice. He has been involved in a wide array of business consulting and advisory services, including enterprise risk management, governance and compliance; model risk management and validation; business performance analysis, improvement and re-design; operations and internal audit, SOX compliance, ITIL/COBiT/CMMI review and assessment; vendor selection and systems implementation; and business continuity, disaster recovery and flexibility. Prior to joining Lp, James was a Director, Enterprise Model Control at Freddie Mac, and prior to Freddie Mac, he worked at KPMG, PwC, Arthur Andersen/KPMG

His formal education/certification includes Masters in Economics, from Bowling Green State University, OH, Bachelors in Economics from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, Nigeria, Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) and Certified in the Governance of Enterprise IT (CGEIT)

Bassey Daniel, MBA IESE
– Managing Partner – Ladlas Prince (Nigeria) Limited -

Bassey has over 14 years experience in banking spanning several functional areas, including retail, commercial and corporate banking, during which he managed portfolios in excess of US$100 million. Bassey is also a seasoned expert in SME lending and investment analysis. He rose to senior management level in the banking industry after serving in key roles in Business Development, Investment Analysis, Strategic Management and Brand Marketing.

He also gained hands-on experience in special projects, including Business Process Improvement, MIS platform migration, Balanced Scorecard Implementation, Intranet-based Learning Portal Design and Implementation. He was part of the team that managed the merger of three banks during Nigeria’s first major banking consolidation.

Before joining Ladlas Prince, Bassey had built a successful consulting business, undertaking several SME enterprise development and access-to-finance projects funded by USAID, DfID and the government of The Netherlands. His consulting experience spans Nigeria, Ghana and Kenya.

His formal education/certification includes a Business Administration degree from the University of Lagos and an MBA from IESE Business School, Barcelona. He is a Master Card Foundation Scholar at the School of Applied Microfinance, Kenya.
